Data Entry Officer Job Opening at Eden
We seek a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Officer. This position manages all inventory data within our food production company.
The successful candidate will be critical to maintaining accurate inventory levels, transactions, and movement records.
Job Responsibilities
You will be expected to perform the following duties as a Data Entry Officer.
- Input and update inventory data into the company’s inventory management system
- Responsible for reconciling physical inventory with data on inventory sheets/systems
- Work closely with stock keepers to ensure FIFO, FEFO, tracking of waste, and B&D.
- Raise and monitor the requisition of consumable and non-consumable products across all units.
- Coordinate the receiving and accounting of inventory for all products
- Work closely with the Finance team to complete the audit of Inventory Regularly
- Work closely with the business analyst to calculate and confirm usage of all inventories weekly
- Responsible for Issuing Consumable and Non-Consumable from the system and working closely with inventory assistants to ensure compliance and update issuing records
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement
- Carry out other duties as required by management
Job Requirements
- Graduate degree or equivalent. Training in data entry or inventory management is preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a similar inventory-focused role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Practical communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Proficient in Google (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Work Schedule
- You will be required to work at least three shifts per week and a maximum of 6 (which can fall on Saturday or Sunday) as rotated.
- Payment is made at the end of each month and is calculated based on the number of shifts worked. Each shift is pegged at 7000 naira; you will be paid monthly.

Data Entry Clerk Job Opening at Eden
We seek a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. The data entry clerk is responsible for assisting the data entry Officer in managing all inventory data within our food production company.
The successful candidate will be critical to maintaining accurate inventory levels, transactions, and movement records.
Job Responsibilities
You will be expected to perform the following duties as a Data Entry Clerk.
- Responsible for issuing all consumables and non-consumables from the Inventory sheet daily.
- Responsible for receiving non-consumables and consumables from the procurement units in the inventory sheet.
- Support the Data Entry Officer in monitoring and reconciling inventory discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
- Responsible for generating all inventory batch codes and ensuring all stocks are appropriately labelled before taking them to the store.
- Ensure all issued items are from a batch code.
- Collaborate with the procurement unit to ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory transactions.
- Assist in conducting regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Carry out other duties as required by management.
Job Requirements
- A diploma degree or equivalent and additional education or training in data entry or related fields is a bonus.
- Previous experience in data entry or administrative support roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Practical communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Work Schedule
